My fiance and I will soon be moving into a Tiny House. As we design
our little 300 square foot home, the one part that we have toiled over
the most is the . . . . . kitchen! We both adore cooking, so we want our
tiny little kitchen to be as functionable as possible. We want to be
able to just step into our kitchen and be able to comfortably start
cooking.
We still don't have our little kitchen planned
all the way out, but we have gotten a long way. We are figuring that,
as we delve into building our tiny house, the kitchen will just kind of
evolve on its own. At least, that is what we hope.
This
summer, we got a tiny little stainless steel double sink at the flea
market. It came out of a little travel trailer. Last weekend we got our
tiny little stove, which looks like it also may have come out of a large
travel trailer or very small mobile home. It even has 4 burners on the
top, a great little oven AND a broiler!!! I can hardly wait to get it
installed and cook our first meal! I already have a small refrigerator
that I have had in storage for awhile. We really hope it still works!
But
we don't want to keep you waiting. So until we get our tiny little
house all built and our kitchen installed, I will be practicing cooking
tiny house style, sharing my adventures and recipes here, with you, as I
go. Then, when we are finally in our little house, cooking should go
very smoothly. At least, that is my hope!
